Capture Slack threads as Mimir sources without leaving your conversation.
The Slack integration lets you import conversations directly into Mimir. When you mention @Mimir in a Slack thread, the entire thread is captured as a source in your most recently updated project — complete with participant names, timestamps, and reactions. No copy-pasting required.
Open settings
Click Connect Slack
Authorize Mimir
Once connected, mention @Mimir in any Slack thread to capture it. Here's what happens:
Mimir acknowledges
Thread is imported
Confirmation reply
Channel messages
If you mention @Mimir outside of a thread (in the main channel), the most recent message is captured as a source.
Automatic processing
Imported threads are classified and extracted just like any other source. They'll appear in your next analysis run.
By default, captured threads go to your most recently updated project. If that's not the right one, click the Wrong project? Change button on the confirmation message. Mimir shows a project picker so you can move the source to a different project without leaving Slack.
To disconnect a workspace, go to Settings and click Disconnect next to the workspace name. This removes the connection — Mimir will no longer respond to mentions in that workspace. Previously imported sources are not affected.
Best for feedback threads
Customer feedback discussions, bug reports, feature requests, and internal product debates all make great sources. The more context in the thread, the more Mimir can extract.
Works in public channels
Mimir needs to be able to read the channel to capture messages. It automatically joins public channels when mentioned. For private channels, invite the Mimir bot first.
